However, this tyrant's power is no match for the omnipotent God who still guards and blesses the early church. After the martyrdom of James, Peter is miraculously freed and Herod's ungodly pride leads to divine judgment.

Acts - Chapter 9 (Episode 9)

Acts chapter 9 is all about Saul. Or is it? Acts - Chapter 8 (part 2) (Episode 8)

Chapter 8 of Acts contains an evangelism explosion as the Gospel is proclaimed and believed both among the Samaritans and an Ethiopian eunuch. Because there was so much to think over, we ended up spending a second class on chapter 8. In this episode we focus on that second story, but we also revisited Acts 8:16 to clarify what is and isn't going on.

Acts - Chapter 8 (Episode 7)

The Word of the Lord grows in fantastic ways in Acts 8 as persecution pushes the church into new places. The first place we go is to Samaria where we see Philip proclaim the Good News of Jesus to Samaritans.
